20th August 08 - Had our tender appointment today at Porter Davis, bit long really, was there for over 4 hours. Site costs now include rock removal which is another $3K to fork out and site costs have gone up by the estimated cost of $1K, so all up an additional $4K on site costs.
I added some up-grades but didn't realise that if i added them in at Tender then when i pay my 3% deposit that day, those up-grade costs get added to the total which means you pay more deposit now than paying the balance 2% at Contract signing. Just a tip for those yet to build.
